Hands-On Ecology
Our ecology programs are immersive because we paddle directly through the
habitats we discuss. From paddling to a deserted island to beachcombing,
students become part of the environment they are studying. Every program is
unique, changing with the tides and the seasonal flora and fauna.
Digital Detox & Connection
We offer a rare opportunity for students to unplug from electronics and get into the rhythm of nature. We are part of this planet, and these programs allow students to reflect on the movement of the tides and habitats that exist outside of our digital influence
Half Day Tours Duration: 3 hours
Orientation begins 15 minutes prior to the program. Your group should arrive in ample time to begin the orientation to maximize time on the water.
Coastal Explorer (Extended Tour) Duration: 4 to 5 hours
This extended trip allows for deeper exploration of the tidal creeks and the remote reaches of Little Tybee Island. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time. A picnic lunch and service is provided for an additional fee per person, or you may bring your own.
Multi-Day Adventure Packages:
Sea Kayak Georgia can plan a custom series of paddling trips spanning multiple days for groups of four to forty-five participants. This option allows your group to explore different areas of Little Tybee each day while returning to the comfort of your own lodging at night.
