Spring brings open positions in our retail shop. Duties would include tour and instructional program registration, ordering, receiving and maintaining merchandise, assisting customers. General knowledge of the paddle sports industry is desired, but we are willing to train an enthusiastic learner. From time to time during the year, we can trade learning opportunities in instruction for help during events. The time that we are most interested in volunteer help: during the Sea Kayak Georgia BCU Week and Skills Symposium in October. Sea Kayak Georgia is looking for interns for the 2015 sea kayaking season. Our interns contribute to the operation of Sea Kayak Georgia through guiding tours, participating in instructional programming and working in the administrative side of the business. Past interns have developed interpretive programs, marketing and learned about small business outfitters and obtained coaching and instructional certifications during their internships. We can assist you in designing a work role here that can meet the specifications of your internship and assisting us with our operations.
