The NDK Romany Surf is the new compact kayak design. It has similar paddling characteristics of the Romany, but it can accommodate much larger paddlers. It is slightly wider then the Romany and it has more volume in the cockpit area as well as wider cockpit. There are knee bumps in the deck same as Explorer HV. Since it has slightly harder chines it has higher initial stability than the Romany and at the same time has great rough weather performance. Finally, a performance oriented compact boat for larger paddles. The outfitting is the same as other NDK kayaks.
