Kayak Kamp

Calling all paddlers from 11 to 15 years of age:

Come to Sea Kayak Georgia's Fantastic and Fun Kayak Kamp. Our camp consists of instruction based games and exploration for children ages 11-15. Come and learn how to paddle or get better at what you have already learned.

Learn strokes and maneuvers, assessing wind, current and tides, paddling in the coastal environment and about the habitats that surround us.

We will learn how to plan day trips and by choosing destinations from local charts. Emphasis will be placed on how to be environmentally sensitive. We will share in all the responsibilities that go with the outdoor living experience. During all days we will explore coastal habitats and continue with instruction. Roll practice will also be addressed during the week.

All classes will be conducted from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. Drop off at 9:00 am and pick up at 4:00 pm.
Kampers will bring their own lunch each day. We supply the boats and gear and instructors.

"We paddle over to Little Tybee Island and set up our base camp, usually in a different place each day. In the water, on the beaches and thru the woods, Little Tybee becomes our adventure playground."
