Navigation I
Learn the basics of kayak navigation - how to read
coordinates of natural features, take bearings, and use ranges to locate
yourself, how to set
a heading, and how to determine speed and distance. This class is geared
to beginners and is held in the classroom and on the water.
Navigation II
Take the skills you learned in Navigation I and
take them further including learning how to navigate in the open water.
Students should be 4 Star paddlers and be prepared for classroom and on-water
sessions.
This class is suitable for intermediate to advanced paddlers.
