Traditional Greenland Paddling
Over thousands of years, the Inuit seal hunters developed
sophisticated tools and t echniques
in order to survive the severe conditions of the Arctic. Come explore
a full range of Greenlandic Techniques with two of its finest American
practitioners. You will develop increased confidence to remain in your
kayak under even the most difficult conditions. Basic through advanced
braces, rolls, and strokes will be offered each day. There will be ample
opportunity to try different low-volume kayaks designed to enhance these
techniques. This extended day class will be tailored to match each participant's
goals, and is designed to accommodate all skill levels. Take one class
as it fits your schedule, or join in daily for a complete progression.
